Effects

Many people think that cyber-bullying doesn't cause any effect on the victim, they're wrong. If you read/watch the news, lots of information is obtained that cyber bullying is just as serious as bullying. Cyber-bullying is one of the number one leading causes for teens/children to commit suicide.
Cyber-bullying can't be always controlled by parents, since students doesn't tell their parents what they're doing on their laptop/computer. This can lead to many negative effects on the victim because he/she doesn't do anything against the problem.

Cyber-bullying effects may include:

  • Having low self confidence
  • Affecting your attendance and performance at school/work
  • Causing stress and and affecting your personal health
  • Affecting you for the rest of your life
  • Leading to suicidal thoughts
  • Affecting your reputation and career.
